100592 Unique opportunities available with a well-backed start-up in the financial technology space!
Our client has spent the past two years building a suite of models about the Credit Derivatives space and they are now ready to build and launch their first commercial software product! With backing from one of the largest names in the Private Equity / VC community, our client is poised for tremendous organizational growth over the next few months! They`ve also secured the services of respected leader in the financial technology sector who has already founded and sold a notable technology firm.
These initial hires will be members of their core engineering group and you will have direct responsibility for the original product development efforts. They have not even completed their first prototype yet, so this is an early stage opportunity for someone interested in contributing to the original code base of a product. The immediate needs consist of 2 backend Java Engineers and 1 Java GUI Developer.
Ideal candidates will have:
Deep understanding of OO Engineering with strong academic pedigree from the top CS schools.
Five to ten years of experience.
Specific core Java expertise is required for this role, as is front office experience in the financial services industry.
Preferred candidates will have some experience with Fixed Income or Credit Derivatives systems.
Specific systems experience could vary (trading, pricing, risk, etc.), but all candidates will be expected to work in a hands-on capacity as an active contributor to their code base.
